This charger is compatible with most batteries with a capacity of 1.2 Ah to 120 Ah at 12 V or 1.2 Ah to 50 Ah at 6 V (for lead-acid batteries). It can also be used with some gel and lithium batteries (1.2 Ah to 120 Ah).
The charger can remain connected to the battery in trickle charge mode for extended periods.
