This type of harness includes a fiberglass core supporting a conductive and magnetic silicone sheath around it around which a stainless steel wire is wound.
This winding works on the principle of a coil; an induced voltage is created by the electromagnetic flux generated by the passage of high voltage through the core of the cable.
The magnetic field fluctuates within the cable, while the stainless steel wire wound around it like a coil absorbs or compensates for the energy generated by the cable. Ignition leads equipped with an inductive resistor are wrapped with two layers of silicone and a layer of fiberglass. The internal silicone insulation ensures durability and protects against high voltages.
The fiberglass fabric increases the mechanical strength of the cable. The exterior silicone rubber insulation withstands temperatures up to 220°C and is resistant to hydrocarbons.
